About Kim
Kim is a Certified Dog Trainer and a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). She is president of the Chicago Dachshund Lovers Club and a senior agility trainer with Hawk City K9. Kim enjoys competing in agility with her dachshunds: Tommy, Sampson and Gina.
Kim has studied under the guidance of many respected professional trainers learning a wide range of philosophies from each one. She regularly supplements her education by attending training seminars and workshops. Kim also has professional experience with various other animal species and is certified in animal nutrition.
Kim helps dog owners teach their canine companions to be well-behaved, happy members of the family. Her approach to training emphasizes positive and humane methods. She specializes in not only basic obedience training but also more serious issues including fearfulness, anxiety, nuisance barking and aggression.
Kim lives in Chicago with her husband, son, three dachshunds and Speedy the turtle.
